A tool for modeling and simulating information-carrying systems. A method for modeling a complex real-time system.
By extension, a tool for simulating and forecasting the operation of a company’s departments in broadcast time.
nextSART allows for the design of information-carrying system or network architectures, the modification of their characteristics and behaviors, and the performance of simulations to enable optimization of parameters and structures.
nextSART is aimed at system architects, project managers, designers, and operators of telecom systems and networks, including mobile radio, computer networks, real-time systems, embedded systems, proprietary protocols, and hybrid hard-soft systems.
This graphical tool enables the creation of heterogeneous system networks. Standard business objects are provided in the database.
The user relies on generic system classes to build their models. They construct their network by placing instances of these systems as network nodes. Instances communicate with links placed by the user. The user can define their own generic systems and define their behaviors using different formalisms. These user systems can then be placed in a public library to allow access to other users. The user can generate documents about the model they are currently building.
